“As part of our three-day study trip, we stayed at Peace Village from May 15th to 17th, 2024, with 70 students (aged 16-17) and teachers. The hostel is the perfect base for exploring the Westhoek and discovering its wartime history. Peace Village stands out for its excellent service at an unbeatable price-quality ratio. This makes a multi-day stay in the Westhoek accessible to everyone. The clean and comfortable accommodations, ranging from individual studios to excellent group and recreational facilities, the regionally inspired cuisine, and a super friendly team of staff make our trip a great success every year. Nestled in the Flemish fields, the hostel excels in tranquility and space, making it perfect for this occasion. Peace Village can be summed up in one word: “enjoyment”. “I went with my school, and it was by far one of the best hotels I have been in in school trips. The food was adequate (chicken was amazing), the rooms and sheets were clean and the staff were really nice. I would recommend!! Me and my friends loved it.”

The bedrooms were absolutely perfect – beautifully clean and everything from the lavatories to the showers to the beds were in perfect condition. Equally, the facilities (outdoor and indoor) around the Peace Village were outstanding and really added to our enjoyment of our time in Belgium.
